2018 is our fourth year in business and promises to be our most exciting yet!
We have a number of functions and events planned including a number of private dinners and parties. What better venue could there be for a wedding or party?
Our new menu has recently been published and features a greater range of food for sharing – Thai and Western – as well as good old favourites!
We have refurbished our bar which now looks much more like a cosy English pub bar and we are now making improvements in the restaurant.
We look forward to welcoming you in 2018!
Horizons will be closed from 1 January for approximately 1 month. We will post the date of our re-opening here and on Facebook.

Our Christmas dinner will be served at 6pm on 25th December. Join us for a welcoming glass of mulled wine and a traditional English Christmas Dinner. We can only accept reserved bookings as space is limited.
We will also have a special menu for 24th December and 31st December.
Pang Pring Beach Resort
Pang Pring Beach Resort comprising 8 bungalows and a swimming pool opens from 13 April. The resort is 50 metres from Horizons. Guests can make bookings through Horizons.
2 bedroom bungalows with cooking facilities, aircon and wifi are being offered at a special promotional price of only THB 2,000 per night, including breakfast, and the 3 Thai wooden bungalows with aircon, wifi and a large veranda at THB 1,200.
There is also a swimming pool and direct access to the beach.
Guests can opt to have the special set breakfast at Horizons… a choice of Thai or English breakfast with tea, coffee, fruit, juice at THB 250 (coupons will be available at the resort office).
Horizons will now be serving breakfast to all comers daily from 0830 – 1030 (except Mondays, which is Resident Guests at the resort only).
Coming soon…… Yoga on the beach!
We are trying to gather interest for Khun Mook, who has a business teaching yoga in Nakhon Si Thammarat to give lessons at Horizons on Sunday afternoons. The sessions will be designed for those with ability and those, like myself, who simply do not bend in the designed places!

Valentine’s Day 2016
Share a romantic evening overlooking the sea with your loved one. Reserve a table at Horizons for Valentine’s Day dinner in an exclusive, romantic setting; set menu or choose from the regular menu.
Phang Pring Beach Resort is now scheduled to open on 1 April 2016. Just a few steps from Horizons it will comprise 4 two bedroomed bungalows and 4 single wooden Thai style bungalows. Phase 2 will include a swimming pool. Enquiries and bookings can be made via Horizons.

Have a look at our Christmas Menu for this year. We are sorry but due to the extreme shortage of turkey this year following a ban on imported birds we have had to increase our price.
Dinner will be served at 6.30 pm and we can only accept reservations as space is limited in the restaurant…. the weather will probably make the terrace unworkable!
If there is a large group booking, we will also do a lunch sitting: please contact us.
New Menu for 2015/6
Our new menu for 2015/6 is now ready.
We have taken time out to learn new dishes and new techniques from chefs in the UK and California and our new menu features not only new dishes but also much improved versions of old ones.
Our pizzas are now made to authentic Italian recipes using Italian ingredients and fresh local produce or try our new range of pasta dishes.
Our Thai section is improved and expanded to include old favourites and some new fusion dishes, such as fillet steak with panaeng sauce and pork chops with sontam.
Our British gastropub menu features new dishes and also some old favourites dropped from our menu last year. Back by popular demand! We also now have a range of beef, pork and cod burgers. All are entirely homemade: the burgers, the buns, the pickles and the chips.

Our 1st Birthday
On 25th of September we Horizons will have been open for one year.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who have supported us: guests, friends, family and all those living in the area who have helped us get settled.
Our first year was a memorable one with many highs and lows. Thankfully the highs were more frequent than the lows and we start our second year full of optimism for the future of Horizons and Pang Pring.
In 2015 we will be offering accommodation in conjunction with our partners who are constructing a small resort opposite Horizons. Details will be released in due course.

Our Bollywood dance night in July was an enormous success and enjoyed by a large number of guests. Quite how to follow that we do not yet know…!
Sufiana, the Bollywood dancer is keen to return to give dance and yoga classes…. very modestly priced…. so if you are interested please let us know and we will pass on your interest.
We are now able to arrange Thai / oil massage in the sala on our private roof terrace with uninterrupted views of the Gulf of Thailand. Please book in advance. (Contact us for prices).
In our bar we have tv with all the live sport you could wish for. After some experimentation we now have stable streams for many major sports channels.
In September we will have our first anniversary. We have not started planning but it will be another night to remember and to thank all those who have helped make our first year so special.

JULY AT HORIZONS
July 16th…. for one night only…. all the way from California, our professional bellydancer will put on a show at Horizons while you enjoy our Thai and International buffet and many other surprises.
The British sporting summer starts in July and all of it can be watched in the bar at Horizons: Wimbledon tennis, The Ashes cricket, the British F1 Grand Prix.
JUNE AT HORIZONS
The good weather his here…. ok, the occasional shower…. remember we have a beautiful beach right in front of our terrace and we have showers if you want to have a swim and wash off afterwards.
The pink dolphins cruise by almost daily now.
Chill out and enjoy a day on the beach at Horizons.
Our menu is in the process of being refreshed. Remember, everything at Horizons is freshly made. We make our own bread, bacon, smoked chicken and duck… even our own tomato ketchup.
Curry Night has been cancelled however we now offer curries on our menu and will be adding curry “specials”.
THURSDAYS are darts nights. It does not matter if you have never played… just join in the fun.
PETANQUE or BOULES are available to play on our purpose built terrain.
Looking ahead we will have a live music night at the end of June or early July. We even have a troupe of belly dancers planning to visit in July…. they might be persuaded to give lessons!
By special request we will be reviving our Sunday lunches. These will not be standard roasts but something a little more special. If you have any requests, such as vegetarian, just let us know and we will put it on.
MARCH AT HORIZONS
Darts Night…. every Thursday. It is about fun not expertise. Even if you have never played come along and give it a try.
Curry Night…. the last Friday of every month. Our special curry buffet with everything made by our chefs.
Live Music…. the last Saturday of every month. Live music by local musicians…. if you are a musician come and join in. We will also have the barbecue fired up!

Horizons now offers a choice of 7 homemade pizzas! Eat in our restaurant or take away. If we can, we will deliver to the Pang Pring / Pak Duat area. Please check with us first as it depends on staff availability and time.
Our pizzas are made entirely in our own kitchen….. no pre-made bases or sauces… just good honest cooking!

Darts at Horizons
Horizons Darts Ladder….
We have a lot of interest in a Darts Ladder and after consulting high and low, far and wide we have the formula: monthly prizes and an annual championship. It does not matter if you go away for periods of time as we have special rules that mean you do not drop off the ladder (although you might go down).
Play matches when it suits you (and your opponent) not when it suits us. Simply register… pay a very small sub (to go towards prizes) and climb the ladder!! Horizons will host the event and put on food for monthly gatherings. The rules are almost worked out but please come and play and give us your input! Remember…. the objective is to have FUN!!
Craft beer comes to Horizons
We have now taken delivery of a sample order of craft beers from the USA and Japan. Each has been hand picked by our Ale Advisor. Many more are available but for now we go with 5 of the best while we see what you, our guests, prefer:

Lunch served from 1pm. – The Sunday Lunch: Starting from 25th of January we will have our Sunday Lunch menu. Sunday Lunch is not just about roast meat but about slow relaxing lunches. On Sundays we will have dishes that take time to prepare and to eat. Of course w will have traditional British roasts but we will also have other “slow food” such as cassoulet, chicken cacciatora (chicken cooked in red wine and olives), hearty stews, tagines from North Africa and many more. Sunday is for relaxing. Sunday Specials 25th January Roast New Zealand lamb, roast potatoes, braised carrots, homemade mint sauce. Roast loin of port, roast potatoes, braised carrots, homemade apple sauce. Sunday Specials, 1 February Home cured salt beef with carrots, potatoes, coriander dumplings.
